Shipping policy

Shipping and Delivery Policy

1. Scope

This policy explains standard delivery to Canada for orders accepted through https://toshoknifearts.shop. For an order, address or parcel enquiry, email info@toshoknifearts.shop.

A product’s eligibility for a particular destination must be assessed before fulfilment. This is especially important for items that may be subject to knife, carrier or import restrictions.

2. Free Standard Shipping

All accepted orders receive free standard shipping, without a minimum purchase amount. The standard shipping charge is zero. We do not add a separate standard packaging or handling charge after checkout.

If an optional premium shipping method is offered, its price must be shown before you choose it. This policy does not mean that premium delivery is available for every product or destination.

3. Order Processing

Our usual processing time is 1–2 business days after the order is placed and the necessary payment authorisation and complete order details are available.

Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding applicable public holidays. Processing includes checking the order, packing the goods safely and preparing the parcel for the carrier. If an issue prevents fulfilment, we will contact you and address the order and payment according to the agreement and applicable law.

4. Estimated Total Delivery

The estimated total delivery time to Canada is 15–20 calendar days from order placement. This includes our usual 1–2-business-day processing period. It does not mean processing time followed by another 15–20 days of shipping.

Calendar days include weekends and holidays even though carriers may not deliver every day. This estimate does not override a more specific delivery commitment made for your order or an applicable legal rule.

5. Product and Destination Restrictions

We do not intend to ship a product that is prohibited for sale, import or supply to the destination. A carrier accepting a parcel does not establish that the product is lawful.

If we cannot lawfully accept or fulfil an order, we will explain the situation and promptly release or refund any payment collected. We will not ask a customer to misdeclare a product or bypass a customs or carrier restriction.

6. Delivery Availability

The checkout indicates whether an address can be served for the selected items. Being able to view the website from a location does not guarantee that every product can be delivered there.

A Canadian delivery address does not, by itself, establish that a parcel is dispatched from within Canada. If a carrier requests an unexpected charge that was not disclosed and agreed before purchase, contact info@toshoknifearts.shop before paying so that we can investigate.

7. Order Confirmation and Tracking

We send an order acknowledgement to the email supplied at checkout. When the selected carrier supports tracking, we provide a tracking reference after dispatch.

The first tracking scan may appear after the shipping notification. Creation of a shipping label alone does not prove that the carrier has received the parcel. Contact us if tracking shows no meaningful progress for an extended period.

8. Safe Packaging

We secure bladed goods for transport with appropriate protection for the edge and point and packaging intended to prevent movement during normal shipping. We use a method that accepts the shipment under applicable carrier rules.

When you receive the parcel, open it slowly on a stable surface. Keep others clear and locate the protected blade before reaching into the package.

9. Multiple Parcels

An order may be sent in more than one parcel where fulfilment requires it. Additional standard parcels that we organise remain free to the customer. We provide separate tracking references when they are available.

If only part of your order arrives, email us with the order number and the items received so that we can check the remaining shipment.

10. Delivery Address

Please provide the recipient’s name, street and unit number, city, province or territory and postal code accurately. Contact us promptly if a correction is needed.

We will try to update an address before dispatch. Once a carrier has received the parcel, an address change may not be possible. An emailed correction request does not, by itself, confirm that the carrier has rerouted the shipment.

11. Incorrect Address and Redelivery

If inaccurate address details you provided cause a failed delivery, we will discuss the available options. A reasonable actual redelivery charge may be requested only where legally permitted and agreed.

We do not automatically forfeit the order payment or impose a fixed penalty. If our mistake caused the address problem, we bear the appropriate correction cost.

12. Unsuccessful Delivery Attempts

A carrier may attempt another delivery or direct a parcel to a collection point. Review legitimate carrier notices promptly and contact us if the notice appears wrong or unclear.

Failure to collect a parcel is not necessarily an express cancellation request. If you wish to cancel, seek redelivery or request another remedy, please tell us clearly.

13. Delays

Weather, public holidays, high parcel volumes or transport disruptions can affect delivery. If a parcel passes its estimated delivery period, we will investigate and share meaningful information available from the carrier.

A delivery estimate is not permission to postpone delivery indefinitely. Applicable provincial or territorial rights concerning a missed delivery date, including Québec distance-contract rights where relevant, remain in effect.

14. Lost or Misdelivered Parcels

If tracking shows delivery but you cannot find the parcel, check whether a designated recipient accepted it and review any legitimate carrier notice. Then contact us with the order and tracking information.

We will investigate the carrier records and circumstances. A delivery scan is not automatically conclusive in every dispute. If a parcel is lost before valid delivery, we will address the replacement or refund required by the agreement and applicable law. You do not have to collect our carrier insurance payment yourself.

15. Damage on Arrival

If a parcel or sharp item arrives damaged, avoid unsafe handling. Keep the packaging if safe and email us your order number and a description of the issue. Photographs can assist but are not an absolute condition for a valid legal claim.

We will arrange an appropriate resolution and, where needed, a safe return method under our Return and Refund Policy and applicable law.

16. Returns and Refunds

Eligible goods may be requested for voluntary return within 30 days after delivery. Contact us before shipping a blade so that we can provide safe packaging guidance and an appropriate prepaid standard return method.

We charge no restocking fee. For an approved voluntary return, we initiate reimbursement within seven calendar days after receipt and reasonable verification. A mandatory legal refund deadline takes priority. Your payment provider may take additional time to display the credit.

17. Contact and Policy Changes

Email info@toshoknifearts.shop with the order number and a concise description of a delivery issue. We aim to respond within two business days; this service target does not extend any mandatory deadline.

Updates to this policy apply to future purchases and do not unilaterally remove a delivery commitment made for an accepted order.
